The MTU series engines are among the very few diesel engines globally equipped with the MDEC electronic monitoring and management system. The 4000 series is a large diesel engine that uses common rail injection system technology. MDEC collects and checks the main parameters during the engine operation, enabling complete combustion of fuel in the cylinder and achieving true electronic injection.
